A nice badge worn by Louisiana veterans at the 1898 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Atlanta, GA. The badge has red ribbon at the top and a white ribbon hanging down. Written on the ribbon in red is "LOUISIANA DIVISION - ARMY of TENNESSEE - Camp No. 2 - U.C.V. - Atlanta Reunion, July 20th to 24th, 1898". The badge was likely made by Mrs. A. Betat, Badges, 1012 Canal St., N.O. Please see Stock No. 12412 in our "Sold" category. There a similar badge for the same camp from 1899 has a stamp on the back.

A wonderful and hard to find badge of the Confederate Survivor Association (C.S.A.). This great badge has a hanger with "Tennessee" on it. The drop has a Confederate battle flag and a second national flag. Written on the badge is "Survivor - CSA - 1861 - 1865 - Deo Vindice". The badge has a T-bar pin on the back. Don't miss this great badge!

A national badge worn by a onfederate veteran at the 1938 United Confederate national reunion held in Columbia, South Carolina. The hanger has "Annual Confederate Reunion - 1938 - COLUMBIS - South Carolina" written on it. A red and white ribbon with "DELEGATE" written in gold is attached to the hanger and the drop. The drop has a Confederate battle flag and a Third National flagGeneral Lee's likeness is on the drop. Written on the drop is "UCV _ Columbia, South Carolina - 1938 - 48th Annual Confederate Reunion". A small tear is over the "ATE" in "Delegate" and this is reinforced with archival tape. Also a small seperation is on the back part of the ribbon and it also is supported with archival tape.

North Carolina Large Celluloid Tarheel Badge

A great badge worn by members of the North Carolina Confederate Veterans at various reunions around the state and at national conventions. This wonderful badge is getting very difficult to find. The badge is a large celluloid tarheel. Written on the tarheel is "1861-1865 - The Tar Heels - Roll of Honor ". There is much more written on the badge and can be read in the photo.

One of the most attractive badges issued to Confederate Veterans was the 1905 UCV National badge. The reunion was held in Louisville, Kentucky. The hanger of the badge is in the shape of a riderless horse. Attached to the horse is a beautiful celluloid with Maj. Gen. John C. Breckinridge on it. Also with Breckinridge is a battle scene and a First National Confederate flag and a Confederate battle flag. Written on the celluloid drop is "Reunion U.C.V. - Louisville - June, 1905. - Maj. Gen. John C. Breckinridge". On the back of the celluloid is the Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J.

One side of the celluloid has Winnie Davis with the third national Confederate flag and the Confederate battleflag. Surrounding Winnie are leaves and roses. SOLD!!! A wonderful badge worn by veterans at the 1907 Blue and Gray reunion held at Fort Fisher, North Carolina. A celluloid pinback is the hanger. Written on the celluloid is "1865 - 1907 - Fort Fisher - Glory Enough For All". A white ribbon is attached to the celluloid. A members badge of the 117th New York Volunteers is stamped on the ribbon Under the badge is written "Blue and Gray - Fort Fisher - Jan'y 15, 1865 - Gray and Blue - Fort Fisher - Jan'y 15, 1865". Shaking hands are also on the badge. This badge is in great condition. You don't find many badges for Fort Fisher!

A very hard to find badge commemorating the Minnesota monument at the Vicksburg 1917 Blue/Gray Reunion! The hanger to this badge has a blue enameled Minnesota on it. A red, white, and blue ribbon is attached. The drop is large and has the Minnesota monument at Vicksburg on it. Written on the front of the drop is "National Memorial Reunion and Peace Jubilee, Vicksburg, Mississippi - Minnesota Memorial - October 16-19, 1917". On the back of the drop is "Minnesota Commision G.A.R." and the commisioners names.

On the celluloid is written "Crystal Spring, Roanoke, VA. - Third Best Water Supply in the World". Attached is a white ribbon with a large Confederate battle flag. Written on the ribbon is "26th Annual Reunion Grand Camp Confederate Veterans of Virginia - Roanoke, VA. - Sept. 17-19, 1913". The badge is approximately 7 inches by 2 3/4 inches. The ribbon is in a fragile state.

The hanger is a celluloid pinback with General Lee and Admiral Rafeal Sims on the front with two Confederate flags. Written on the celluloid is "Mobile Reunion - U.S.C.V. - April 26, 27, 28, 1910". A white ribbon with a Confederate battle flag and "U.S.C.V.' in red hangs from the celluloid. The ribbon is made by the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J.

A very nice badge worn by Virginia Confederate veterans at the 1927 Grand Camp of Confederate Veterans reunion held in Alexandria, Virginia. The hanger is a celluloid badge that has the figure from the Alexandria, Virginia Confederate monument on it. The Confederate monument was dedicated in 1889. A red, white, and red ribbon is attached to the celluloid. Written in silver is "40th Annual Reunion of the Grand Camp Confederate Veterans of Virginia - June 7-9, 1927 - Alexandria, VA.". The badge was made by the St. Louis Badge Co. as noted in the paper label in the back of the celluloid. The badge is approxiamtely 5 inches by 1 5/8 inches. The badge is very clean and crisp!

SOLD!!! A wonderful badge from the 1935 United Confederate Veteran Virginia state reunion held in Roanoke, Viriginia. The hanger is a bronze type metal with "DELEGATE" written on it. A red and white ribbon is attached to the hanger. Written in gold on this ribbon is "45th Annual Reunion United Confederate Veterans - 40th Annual Reunion Sons of Confederate Veterans Virginia Div. - Roanoke, VA. - Oct. 15-16-17, 1935 ". There are three Confederate glags in gold on th bottom of the ribbon. This is a very crisp badge that just came available from a very old collection!

Absolutely beautiful badge worn by a member of the Louisiana Division of the Army of Tennessee at the 1899 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Charleston, South Carolina. This badge was made by an obscure female badge maker from New Orleans!!! On the back of the badge is stamped "Mrs. A. Betat, Badges, 1012 Canal St., N.O.". The ribbon on this badge is red, white, and red. Written on the badge is "LOUISIANA Division - Army of Tennessee, Camp 2, U.C.V. - Charleston Re-Union, 1899.". The badge is aproximately 7 5/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. This is an extremely crisp badge that just came out of an old collection. You don't see these very often!
