A very nice badge worn at the 1900 reunion of the 27th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. The hanger is a brass type material with "MEMBER". The ribbon is red. Written on the ribbon is "Ninth Re-Union 27th Reg't N.J. Vol.- Chatham, N.J. - Oct. 3, 1900". A celluloid drop is attached to the ribbon with a photo of one of the veterans of the 27th New Jersey. On the back of the celluloid on a paper label is "The Sommer Badge M'f'g. Company, 12 William Street, Newark, N.J.". The badge is approximately 6 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

A very nice badge worn at the 1908 reunion of the 27th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. The hanger is a brass type material with "GUEST". The ribbon is red, white, and blue. Written on the ribbon is "17th Annual Re-Union 27th Reg't N.J. Vols - Oct. 8, 1908". A celluloid drop is attached to the ribbon. On the drop is Chaplain Rev. W.W. McCormack.The Chaplain is identified on the back of the celluloid drop. The badge is approximately 5 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

A very nice badge worn at the 1901 reunion of the 27th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. The hanger is a brass type material with "GUEST". A large celluloid with American flags is attached to the ribbon. Written below the celluloid is "Tenth Annual Re-Union 27th N.J. Vols - Oct. 9, 1901". Above the celluloid is a Ninth Corp symbol. The badge is approximately 6 3/8 inches long and 2 inches wide. Attached to the back of the badge is a cardboard piece with "The Sommer Badge M'f'g Company, 239-241 Halsey Street, Newark, N.J.".

1913 UCV Chattanooga National Reunion Badge

A nice badge worn by Confederate veterans at the 1913 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The hanger has a third national flag and a Confederate battle flag on it. "UCV" is in between the two flags. A red and white ribbon hangs between the hanger and the drop. The drop has Lookout Mountain in the background and cannons and houses in the fore ground. Written on the drop is "U.C.V. Reunion Chattanooga, Tenn. - May 27- 29, 1913 - Lookout Mountain". Written on the back of the drop is "Official Veteran Badge made by Schwaab Stamp & Seal Co. - Milwaukee, Wis.". There is some seperation on the white part of the red and white ribbon. The badge is very clean and bright.

139th New York Infantry Regimental Badge

A beautiful regimental badge worn by a member of the 139th New York Infantry. The hanger has "139 Regt N.Y. Vols" written on it. Ared, white, and blue ribbon attaches the hanger to the drop. The drop is in the shape of the 18th Corps symbol. An enamel heart standing for the 24th Corps in blue is in the center of the drop. A red enamel ring surrounds the blue heart. Written in the ring is the latin moto of the regiment. Also written on the drop is "War 1862 - 1865 - Veterans". The badge was made by Robert Stoll, 19 John St., N.Y. as stamped on the back of the drop.

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! A hard to find GAR ribbon with General George Armstrong Custer's likeness on the badge! This neat badge was worn by cavalry veterans at the 1911 Connecticut cavalry reunion held in Hartford, Conn. The badge has a brass hanger with a yellow ribbon attached to it. On the ribbon is a likeness of General Custer. Written around the likeness of General Custer in black is "44 Conn. Cavalry Reunion - Hartford - Oct. 4, 1911". Please note there is some staining to the left side of the ribbon from General Custer's shoulder down. Attached to the back of the ribbon is a paper label from the Whitehead & Hoag Company, Newark, N.J.,

Sold! Sold! Sold! A very nice lapel stud worn by a member of the United Confederate Veterans at the 1904 reunion held in Nashville, Tennessee. The stud is approximately 1 1/8 inch wide. The likeness of General John B. Gordon is in the middle of the badge. Written around Gordon's likeness is "Nashville - June 1904". The stud was made by the B.H. Stief Jewelry Company, Nashville, Tennessee as noted by a stamp on the back of the stud.

SOLD!!! A great large celluloid pinback from the 1909 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Memphis, Tennessee. The pinback is approximately 1 1/2 inches wide. A First and Second National Confederate flag are crossed over a bust of General Albert Sidney Johnson. Written on the pinback is "Memphis Reunion - 1909 - June 8 - 9 -10". The pinback was made by the Whitehead & Hoag Company, Newark, New Jersey as noted on the back of the pinback.

WW1 Engraved UDC Service/Southern Cross

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! A nice WW1 service/Southern cross presented by the United Daughters of the Confederacy to WW1 soldiers who had Confederate ancestry. This badgge was engraved by the owner. The engraving on the back of the badge syas "Francis Lawson Neimyer". The badge is numbered 5080. Neimyer fought over seas as noted by the drop on the ribbon.

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! A nice pin with Colonel/President Teddy Roosevelt on the drop! The hanger is an eagle stick pin. The drop which is about the size of a dime has Colonel Teddy Roosevelt's likeness with "April - May 2 - President Roosevelt - St. Louis. MO. - 1903" written on it. The back of the drop has "Worlds Fair - 1903 - Dedication" written onit with a Louisiana Exposition flag in the middle.

New York Veteran Zouave Association Badge

A very hard to find Zouave badge! This great badge was worn by members of the New York Veteran Zouave Association. Members of this association represented some of the most highly sought after Zouave regiments around. The hanger has crossed swords, an anchor, a cannon barrel, an engineer castle, and crossed rifles with a sunburst behind it. A t-bar pin is on the reverse side of the hanger. The drop has an eagle and a Civil War officer with many badges on it. Written around the officer is "Org. 1878 - Incor. 1886 - 1861 - 1865 - New York Veteran Zouave Association - Nunquam Retrorsum". Also a band of corps badge symbols surround the soldier. The badge was made by Braxmar - New York as stamped on the back of the drop.

A great badge from the hard to find 1895 Houston, Texas United Confederate Veterans reunion. This great badge has a silver colored hanger. A red, white, and blue ribbon has "Re-Union - 1895 - Houston, Tex." written in silver ink. A beautiful celluloid drop has a colorful third national Confederate flag on it. The reverse celluloid has a likeness of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson at their last meeting before Stonewall's death. A great badge!
