A very hard to find badge worn by Confederate veterans at the unveiling of the General A.P. Hill monument in Richmond, Virginia. This great badge is approximately 7 1/8 inches by 2 1/4 inches. A gold fringe is attached to the bottom of the ribbon. On the ribbon part of the badge is written "Unveiling Gen'l A.P. Hill Monument - Richmond, VA. - May 30th, 1892". There are six Confederate flags surrounding a Virginia state flag. General A.P. Hill's image is also on the badge.

1910 North Carolina Celluloid Norfolk Reunion Badg

SOLD!!! A very hard to find badge worn by North Carolina veterans at their 1910 United Confederate Veteran's State reunion held in Norfolk, Virginia. It is very hard to find these badges without cracks or breaks. This wonderful badge has the Confederate battle flag and the First National flag on it. Under the flags are the Virginia and North Carolina state coat of arms. Under the coat of arms are two swords, a cannon tube, and an anchor. Written on the badge is "North Carolina State Reunion - UCV - Norfolk, VA. - September 6-7, 1910". The badge is approximately 2 inches by 3 9/16 inches. The celluloid badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J. There is an ink mark on the back of the badge on the very bottom of the badge. This makes it look like a crack or break but it is only a mark. Don't miss this hard to find badge.

A really wonderful badge worn by members of Mahone's Brigade! This beautiful badge has an enamel Confederate battle flag on a sterling silver base! Written on the battle flag is "Mahone's Brigade - Battle of the Crater - July 30, 1864 - Petersburg, Va". This incredible badge is approximately 1 1/16 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches tall. On the back of the badge is the "STERLING" mark. Don't miss this great badge!

1915 Battle Axe Shoes UCV Pinback with Cannon!

A great badge presented at the 1915 United Confederate Veteran reunion held in Richmond, VA. This badge was given by the Stephen Putney Shoe Co. and Battle Axe Shoes to the Confederate veterans. The hanger is a pin back that is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. On the pin back is written "Compliments Stephen Putney Shoe Co. - Buy the Best - Battle Axe Shoes - Built on Honor - Richmond, VA. June 1-3, 1915" The pin back has two Confederate battle flags. Attached to the pin back is a cannon! The cannon is approximately 2 3/4 inches long. The pin back is made by the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey. I haven't seen one of these on the market in a long time.

A hard to find celluloid badge worn at the 1908 Alabama State United Confederate Veterans reunion. The badge is approximately 3 5/8 inches by 2 nches. The badge has a pin attached between two holes in the back of the badge. There are no cracks or chips. The badge has a circle in a Confederate battle flag. Written in the circle is "Alabama State Reunion - U.C.V. and U.S.C.V. - November 24-25-26, 1908 - Mobile". These are very hard to find. Don't mis it!

A great badge from the 1925 United Confederate Veteran State Reunion held in Wilson, North Carolina. The hanger is a pinback with two Confederate flags and a UCV North Carolina State Commander on it. A red/white/red ribbon hans from the pinback. On the ribbon in gold is written "18th Annual Reunion North Carolina Division U.C.V. - Wilson, N.C. - June 3-4-5, 1925".

A great badge worn by veterans of the 3rd Rhode Island Heavy Artillery at their 1895 reunion. This great badge has a large red ribbon with an attached celluloid photo of their colonel. The ribbon is approximately 6 7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches. The celluloid photo is approximately 2 5/8 inches by 2 inches. The photo is attached to the ribbon by two ribbons. A pin shaped like a t is on the back.

A great badge from the 1890 GAR Pennsylvania State Encampment held at Shamokin, Pennsylvania. The badge was presented "Compliments of Lincoln Post No. 140" as noted on the back of the drop. The card is mounted on an old card and has "E.C.Davis #293 - 1963 - 2.00" written on the back of the card. It looks like this badge sold for $2.00 in 1963!

A nice badge worn by the Rhode Island delegation attending the 1890 Grand Army of the Republic National Encampment held in Boston, Massachusetts. The hanger of this badge has an anchor nad "Rhode Island - HOPE". A red ribbon is attached to the hanger. A drop is attached to the ribbon. On the drop is the bust of Benjamin F. Davis, 1890 Department Commander. On the back of the drop is "R.I. Delegation to 24th Nat. Encpt. - BOSTON - Aug. 1890 - G.A.R.". The ribbon on this badge is in great condition. Normally the ribbon is in poor condition on this badge but this one is in great condition.

1905 GAR Denver, Colo. National Encampment Badge

In my opinion, one of the prettiest badges made for Grand Army of the Republic National Encampments. This beautiful badge was created for the 1905 encampment held in Denver, Colorado. The hanger has a cowboy on a bucking bronco. Around the cowboy is an enameled GAR. Also the "39th National Encampment" is in white enamel. A gold "Delegate" bar hangs from the cowboy. Another bar has cattle, mining, and farming represented in silver and gold. The bottom drop has two enameled U.S. flags. An eagle with a GAR star and a bronze disk with the likeness of W.W. Blackmar, Commander-in-Chief. A yellow ribbon hangs behind the badge. On the back of the ribbon is a Whitehead & Hoag Co. sticker.
This badge is missing the pin on the back of the hanger.
