A hard to find badge for the momument dedication for two monuments!! This badge was worn by a veteran at the monument dedication of General Doubleday and General Robinson on September 25, 1917. The hanger has "VETERAN" on it. A red ribbon is attached and the drop has both monuments. Written on the drop is "Dedication of Monuments to Generals Doubleday and Robinson - Dedicated Sept. 25th, 1917 - Gettysburg 1863". A killer badge for two monuments!! Don't miss this one.

A nice badge worn by the New York veterans at the 1913 50th Anniversary at Gettysburg. The hanger has two soldiers shaking hands with "1863 - 1913 - New York - Gettysburg" written on it. The drop has General Lee and General Meade in relief with swords, guns, and cannons. The badge was made by The Whitehead & Hoag Co.

A nice badge presented to veterans at the General Slocum Monument Dedication on September 19-20, 1902. The hanger has an eagle and "New York" written on it. The second bar of the badge says "Veteran". The drop has the Slocum Monument with "Dedication Equestrian Statue of General Slocum - Gettysburg - Sept. 19 - 20, 1902" on it. The badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag Co.

89th Ohio Identified Ladder Badge

A wonderful identified ladder badge from the 89th Ohio Infantry. This badge was owned by Arch Cork, Co. H, 89 Reg. O.V.I. Archibald Cork was mustered in August 1862 and was mustered out on June 7, 1865. The 89th Ohio supported the Wilder brigade at the battle of Hoover's Gap. The regiment engaged in the battle of Chickamauga where it was in the hottest part of the battle. At the end of the second day most of the regiment was captured. Arch Cork was not one of the captured soldiers. He fought at Missionary Ridge, Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca, and all the other fights in the Atlanta campaign. They fought at Nashville and joined Sherman on his march to the sea. They also fought in the Carolina campaign at the end of the war. This is a great badge! Don't miss it!

SOLD!!! A really nice ribbon for the 50th Anniversary of the 85th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. The ribbon is approximately 7 1/16 inches long. The reunion was held in Terre haute on September 2, 1912.

A really nice 5th New York Cavalry at gettysburg badge from 1893. This is a great badge! The badge is approximately 8 1/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. This badge was worn on New York Day, July 2, 1893. This was the weekend the New York monument was dedicated. This is a wonderful badge!

A nice badge from the 1913 Gettysburg 50th Anniversary of the Blue and Gray! This great badge has a Souvenir hanger. Attached to the hanger is the drop with "Gettysburg - 1863 - 1913" written on it. There is an eagle and shaking hands and even better the US and Confederate flag with the painting or enamel intact!! Most of these have long ago lost the color that makes this a great badge.

Here is one you don't see very often! An Army of West Virginia Reunion badge from the 1897 reunion in Columbus, Ohio. The hanger is a brass type material with "Army of West Virginia". The ribbon is red, white, and blue. The drop is celluloid with "Army of West Virginia - Columbus, O., Sept. 8-10, 1897" with an eagle. On the back is the Ohio state seal.

A really nice idance card to the Grand Military Ball given in honor of the 28th New Jersey Volunteer Veteran Association, Thursday Ev'g, Sep. 26, 1895. This dance card is made of a cardboard type material and has very nice graphics on the front. On the inside there is an "Order of Dance" on both pages. On the back is printed "GRAND MILITARY BALL! Given in honor of the 28th N.J. Volunteer Infantry Veteran Ass'n, under the auspices of Frank Lloyd Post, 79, at Citizens' Hall, South River, Thursday Ev'g, Sep. 26, 1895 - Music by Columbia Orchestra." This neat card is now in two pieces but a great New Jersey piece.

A hard to find badge from the 1882 Gar National Reunion in Baltimore, Maryland. Any badge from this reunion is hard to find! The book on GAR National badges starts at the 1883 National badge!! This badge has an eagle, cannon, sword, ect as the hanger and the drop has "Sixteenth Annual Encampment G.A.R. - Baltimore - June 21, 1882" written on the disc. On the back of the drop is a GAR star with logo. Don't miss this hard to find badge!

In gold on the ribbon is written "19th Reunion - 33rd Reg't N.J. Vet. Vols. - Morristown, N.J. - Oct. 27, 1910". Some of the gold writing is weak. The badge is approximately 5 1/4 inches tall.

A creasant and a star corp badge are on the ribbon and "33rd Reg't J.J.V. - 3rd Re-Union - Morristown, N.J. - September 4th, 1893" is written in silver. The badge is approximately 6 inches tall. On the back are two ads for The Whitehead & Hoag Co. One is a stamp and the other is a paper label.

A nice badge for the 1901 reunion of the 33rd New jersey Volunteers. The hanger is made of a brass type material with "11th Reunion" on it. A white ribbon is attached to the hanger with a US flag ribbon. A large celluloid id attached to the white ribbon. On the celluloid is crossed US flags and a star. Written on the ribbon in gold is "33rd Reg't N.J. Vols. - Sept. 25, 1901 - Morristown, N.J.".

Another nice adge from the 33rd New Jersey. This badge was for the 1905 reunion at Newark, NJ of the 33rd New Jersey Volunteers. The hanger is a brass type material and a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to the hanger. A celluloid disc is attached to the ribbon and has a photo likeness of a member of the 33rd New Jersey. Written on the ribbon is "14th Reunion Regimental Assoc'n - 33rd N.J. Vols. - Newark - Sept. 4, 1905" in gold. The badge is approximately 5 1/4 inches tall. There is a Whitehead & Hoag sticker on the back of this ribbon.
