A neat badge worn by Indiana veterans at the 1896 Indiana State Encampment held in South Bend, Indiana. The hanger has "1896 - South Bend" written on it. The hanger is attached to a red ribbon. The drop has th likeness of Schuyler Colfax on it. The back of the drop has "Seventeenth Annual Encampment Department Indiana G.A.R. - South Bend - May 13-14, 1896" written on it.

SOLD!!! A neat reunion badge for the Calhoun County Veteran Battalion held in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1909. The hanger has a celluloid image of Abraham Lincoln on it. A red, white, and blue ribbon is attached to the hanger. Written in gold ink on the ribbon is "19th Annual Reunion - Calhoun Co. Veteran Battalion - Battle Creek, Mich. - Aug. 18, 1909". The badge was made by the St. Louis Button Company, St. Louis, Missouri as noted on the back of the hanger.The badge is approximately 5 1/4 inches by 2 inches.

A nice badge worn by a member of the 124th Indiana Infantry. A celluloid pinback serves as the badge hanger. Chaplain R.H. Sparks likeness is on the celluloid pinback. Reuben H. Sparks was the chaplain of the 124th Indiana Infantry at the end of the war. A red, white, and blue ribbon is attached to the celluloid hanger. Written on the ribbon in gold ink is "124th Indiana Infantry - 37th Annual Reunion - Lynn, Indiana - Oct. 1-2, 1913".

A great badge from the 1917 reunion of the 84th Indiana Infantry held in Muncie, Indiana. The Celluloid hanger has I.F. Sweeney's likeness on it and has "84th Ind. Vol. Infantry - I.F. Sweeney" written on it. A red, white, and blue ribbon is attached to the celluloid pinback and has "45th Annual Reunion - 84th Indiana Vol. Infnatry - Muncie, IND. - 1917" written in gold ink on it. The badge is approximately 4 3/8 inches long. The celluloid pin is approximately 1 3/4 inches. Sweeney mustered in as a hospital steward in September 1862. He ended the war as an Assistant surgeon and mustered out in June 1865.

A nice grouping of Morgan's Men items. THe first item is a Morgan's Men ribbon with General John Hunt Morgan's likeness on the top of the ribbon. The second piece is a 4th Kentucky Cavalry reunion badge. The badge has a brass type bar for the hanger. An off white ribbon is suspended from the hanger. Written in red on the ribbon is "C.S.A. - Re-Union 4th KY. Regiment, Confederate Cavalry - Carrollton, KY. - 1895". The badge is approximately 6 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide on the hanger.The Morgan's Men ribbon is approximately 7 1/2 inches long and 1 7/8 inches wide.

45 North Carolina "Rockingham Rebels" Celluloid Pinback

SOLD!!! A hard to find pinback worn by a member of the "Rockingham Rebels", Company G, 45th North Carolina Infnatry, Army of Northern Virginia. The pinback is approximately 1 1/4 inches wide. In the center of the pinback is the First National Confederate flag. Written around the flag is "Remember - Rockingham Rebels". The back of the pin has a torn maker label and has some discolorization. Please see photo.

New York Monument Dedication on Lookout Mountain Celluloid Badge

SOLD!!! A great badge worn by New York veterans at the New York monument dedication on Lookout Mountain in 1910. The badge has a metal hanger with a celluloid inset of blue. Written in white on the celluloid inset is "Dedication - New York Memorial - Lookout Mountain - November 15' 1910". A celluloid blue triangle (like a corps flag) is attached to the hanger. A white 12th Corps symbol is in the center of the flag. The badge is made by the Whitehead & Hoag Company, Newark, New Jersey as noted on the back of the hanger. Most of these badges have chipped or broken celluloid drops. This badge is complete with no chips or breaks.

SOLD!!! A great grouping of Berdan's sharpshooter reunion items! The grouping consists of three items. The first two items are reunion ribbons. The first ribbon is a white ribbon. Written on the ribbon in black ink is "14th Annual REUNION of Co. B, 2nd. U.S.S.S.(United States Sharp Shooters) - Grand Lodge, June 20, 1894". A red Third Corp emblem is on the bottom of the ribbon. The ribbon is approxiamtely 6 3/4 inches by 2 1/8 inches. The second item is an off green ribbon. Written on this ribbon is "16th Annual REUNION of Co. B, Second U.S.S.S. - Lansing - June 17, 1896". A red Third Corp emblem over a star is at the top of the ribbon. This ribbon is approximately 6 1/4 inches by 2 1/8 inches. The third item is a Third Corp badge. This badge is of the Spanish American War vintage.

The ribbon is approximately 7 inches by 1 1/4 inches. The second ribbon is pink and has "Wives and Daughters - Confederate Veterans. Compliments of T.E. Powell, Baird, Texas." written on it. SOLD!!! A great souvenir badge from the 1916 United Confederate Veterans national reunion held in Birmingham, Alabama. The hanger has the word "Souvenir" written on it. The drop is attached by two rings to the hanger. In the middle of the drop is Robert E. Lee's likeness. Written around Lee's likeness is "United Confederate Veterans Reunion - Birmingham, ALA. - May 16 - 18 - 1916 - Gen. R.E. Lee". On the back of the drop is the First National flag, Third National flag, and the COnfederate battle flag is in the middle.

SOLD!!! A neat paper badge for the Confederate Monument fund in Richmond, Virginia. The cardboard tag is approximately 3 inches wide. On the front is a Confederate battle flag with "Confederate Monument Fund - TAG DAY - Dennison's Tag - Trade Mark" written on it. On the back of the badge is the Great Seal of the Confederate States. These were sold to help finance the ConfederateSoldiers Monument.

SOLD!!! A nice badge worn at the 1897 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Nashville, Tennessee. The hanger has the word "Souvenir" on it. The drop is in the shape of a Southern Cross surrounded by a wreath. Written on the drop is "Reunion Confederate Veterans - Nashville - June 22 - 24, 1897". The badge was made by Schwabb & Son, Milwaukee as noted on the back of the drop.

A hard to find reunion badge for the 2nd Iowa Cavalry in 1897. The celluloid disk is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. Written on the badge is "8th Bi-Ennial Reunion Second Iowa Cavalry - Davenport, Iowa, October 6-7, 1897". An Union officer riding a horse is depicted in the middle of the badge. A pin is attached to the back of the badge.
