A great TEXAS badge! This great badge is from the 1895 Houston, Texas UCV reunion. This is a very hard reunion to find badges from. The top piece is steer horns with "Houston, Texas" on the horns. The bottom drop has "1895 - UCV Encampment" around a Confederate battle flag. There are crossed rifles, swords, cannon, and an anchor around the edges of the drop. On the top of the drop is "Souvenir".

Identified Southern Cross-Otey's Virginia Battery

A great identified Virginia Southern Cross identified to T.M. Goldsby, 13 Battalion, Co. A(Otey's Battery), Virginia Artillery. This famous battery was manned by Richmond, Virginia members. This battery was in Longstreet's Corp, Army of Northern Virginia. This badge was sold by Charles Crankshaw, Atlanta as noted on the back of the top bar. There is a lapel stud on the back of the top bar. This is a wonderful badge with a wonderful history.

Here is a great identified Southern Cross of Honor presented to Isham Pitman, 51 North Carolina Infantry, Co. E. Isham had his Southern Cross inscribed on the top bar. This Southern Cross was made by Charles Crankshaw, Atlanta as noted on the back of the top piece. This badge has a lapel stud on the back.

Here is an interesting badge from the Gettysburg reunions. In the center of the badge it says "1913" in blue enamel. The ribbon is red and black. The badge was made by W.&H. Co. Could this be Whitehead and Hoag? Neat badge.

This is a very hard to find Gettysburg monument badge. This great badge was presented to Veterans that attended the monument dedication of the General James Wadsworth monument. The badge is dated October 6, 1914. The badge is made by Whitehead & Hoag Co.

Maryland Monuments at Gettysburg 1888 Ribbon

This is one of the more scarce Gettysburg monument ribbons or badges. This wonderful ribbon is dated October 25th, 1888 and is for the Dedication of the Monuments erected by The State of Maryland, to commemorate the Heroism of Her Troops, at the BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG, July, 1863. There are five Maryland regiments listed on the ribbon. This ribbon is as nice as you could possibly want. There are no rips or tears and is as close to mint as even the most discriminating collector could want!

Southern Cross of Honor-A. McDowell-North Carolina

Here is a wonderful Southern Cross of Honor awarded to Alexander McDowell. Alex McDowell was in the 1st Battalion Co. C, North Carolina Heavy Artillery. He was stationed primarily in the Cape Fear district. The cross is identified by a letter with it and an envelope from the Adjutant General's Office, United Confederate Veterans, New Orleans. Identified Southern Crosses are getting hard to find!

1921 UCV Identified North Carolina National Badge

Here is a wonderful 1921 UCV National Badge identified to Henry B. Shute, 30 North Carolina Infantry. He was captured at Cedar Creek and confined at Point Lookout, MD. The hanger has "H.B.Shure" in pencil. The ribbon is red, white, and red with "VETERAN" in gold written on it. The drop has "U.C.V. Reunion Chattanooga, Tenn. - Oct. 25-27, 1921 - Lookout Mountain" written on it. You don't find many of these UCV national badges identified!

Identified Morgan Cavalry Ladder Badge

Confederate ladder badges are getting very hard to find but special units are impossible to find. Here is an identified badge from one of Morgan's Cavalry units. The badge is identified to R.H. Digman, Co. G, 6th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry. Digman was captured on Morgan's Ohio raid and served in severeal prisoner of war camps. He was paroled at Point Lookout, MD. The badge also has "Col. Howard Smith - Morgans Command" on the badge. This veteran wanted it all on the badge! Don't miss this extremely hard to find badge.
