Sold!!! This great ladder badge was worn by a veteran of the 3rd Alabama Infantry, Company I. The badge has four bars. On the bars is "Co. I, 3, Alabama, Vol. Inf.". The 3rd Alabama Infantry was in the Army of Northern Virginia. They fought at Seven Pines, Malvern Hill, Winchester, Cedar Hill, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, The Wilderness, Spottsylvania, Second Cold Harbor, Early's advance on Washington, the battles around Richmond, Petersburg, and Appomattox. Don't miss this great badge from a hard fighting unit!!!

Wonderful Pair of Lee Monument 1887-1890 Ribbons

A great pair of Lee Monument ribbons worn at the unveiling of the Lee Monument in Richmond, VA in 1890. The first ribbon is red and has the Lee Monument on it in gold. Written on the ribbon in gold is "Robt. E. Lee Monument - Richmond, Va. Oct. 27, 1887 - Unveiling May 29, 1890". The blue ribbon has General Lee's farewell address written on it. The red ribbon was attached to the front of the blue ribbon at one time. What a great pair of Lee Monument ribbons!

A nice 1929 United Confederate Veteran's National Badge worn by veterans attending the Charlotte, North Carolina reunion. This great badge has the hanger as the state of North Carolina. Lee and Jackson are on the drop. These are getting hard to find!

1887 St. Louis Grant Monument Fund Badge

SOLD!!! A great badge sold at the 1887 GAR National Encampment held in St. Louis, Missouri. The two piece badge has a large eagle with a very long pin on the back. The drop is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. On the front of the drop it says "21st National Encampment G.A.R. - Souvenir St. Louis 1887". There are cavalry, infantry, and artillery soldiers on the drop. On the back of the drop it says "To commemorate the greatest re-union of G.A.R. veteran soldiers since the Civil War - The proceeds from the sale of this medal are donated to the Grant Monument Fund by the Executive Committee St. Louis 1887.". This is a great badge and is hard to find with the pin attached.

A great ribbon presented by the R.E. Lee Camp No. 1 at the Lee Monument unveiling in 1890. This great ribbon has the Lee Monument with four Confederate flags. Written on the ribbon is "LEE MONUMENT UNVEILING - Compliments of R. E. Lee Camp No. 1, Confederate Veterans. Richmond, VA. May 29th, 1890". The ribbon is approximately 6 1/2 inches by 2 7/16 inches.

A very hard to find 1913 Virginia at the 50th Anniversary of Gettysburg badge issued to veterans of the Virginia infantry! The state of Virginia issued three badges to it's veterans at the 50th Anniversary at Gettysburg. The cavalry badge(yellow ribbon) is the most encountered badge. The artillery badge has a red ribbon and the infantry badge has a blue ribbon. The infantry badge is the hardest badge to find!

SOLD!!! A wonderful badge worn by an Assistant Adjutant General on the Staff of the Commander-In-Chief at the 1922 Richmond, Virginia United Confederate Veterans reunion. This great badge is made of five piece. The top hanger has General Jackson's monument and "Richmond, Virginia" on it. The second bar has "Staff Com-In-Chief" on it. The third bar has "Assistant Adjutant General" on it. The fourth drop has the White House of the COnfederacy and the Confedeerate Memorial Institue with an enameled Confederate battle flag. Also written on the drop is "United Confederate Veterans - 32nd Reunion - June, 1922". On the back of the drop is "Richmond 1922". The fifth piece to the badge is a red/white/red ribbon with fringe. The ribbon has some seperation at the top.

SOLD!!! A one of a kind badge worn by the Commander in Chief of the Sons of Confederate Veterans at the 1929 United Confederate Veteran reunion held in Chrlotte, North Carolina. Edmond R. Wiles was the SCV Commander at this reunion and this was his badge. This badge is patterned after the SCV delegate badge at this reunion but this badge has enamel on the flags and has a bar with "S.C.V. COMM." on it. If you are a SCV, UCV, North Carolina, or rare badge collector, this is one you will want in your collection.
