Here is a wonderful photo of a GAR reunion at the Devil's Den at Gettysburg! This large photo has lots of GAR members and their wives posing at the Devil's Den. On the photo is "No P164 at Devil's Den - Gettysburg, PA. Oct. 6th, 1902". The photographer was M.F. Williams. The mat is approximately 17 inches by 13 7/8 inches. The photograph is approximately 10 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches. The mat is in poor condition with the left corner being torn away. The photo is in fair condition. There is a white spot to the right of the Devil's Den sign. There is a small crease and tear on the left bottom to the left of the title on the photo. Overall this is an incredible GAR/Gettysburg photo!

Here is a great photo of Pennsylvania Post #2 at Broad Street Station going to the 1908 National Convention. The date is August 30, 1908. The photo is framed and is approximately 14 1/2 inches by 12 1/2 inches. The photo is approximately 9 1/2 inches by 7 1/8 inches. There are badges on all these guys and they are holding flags at the railroad station.

Here is a great photograph of John W. Hudson in his GAR uniform with multiple badges. He is wearing his GAR membership badge, GAR lapel pin, Delaware ribbon, a celluloid pin with another GAR member with his membership badge, and a flag celluloid pinback. On the back of this great photo is "John W. Hudson - September 27 - 1833 - 1919 - Died 9-14-19". This photo is approximately 4 1/4 inches by 3 inches.

A great CDV of General John Logan from Illinois. He was a great General, one of the founders of the GAR, and a national politician. This great image is by Matthew Brady, the premier photographer of the Civil War. General Logan is wearing a 15 Corp badge on his lapel. Brady's backmark is on the reverse.

An armed cavalry officer cdv tinted by the photographer. This great cdv has a cavalry officer seated by a table. The officer is holding his sword and has a Hardee type hat on the table. The photographer tinted his belt plate, pant stripes, sword knot and epauletts yellow and he tinted the table cover red. Don't miss this great cdv!

Brig. General R.E. Colston. Here is a great cdv of Confederate General R.E. Colston. The cdv is backmarked E. & H.T. Anthony, New York. Colston graduated from VMI and was Colonel of the 16th Virginia. He was promoted brigadier general on December 24, 1861. He commanded a brigade in the Peninsular campaign and in April, 1863 was assigned a brigade in Stonewall Jackson's corps. After a poor performance at Chancellorsville, he was moved to other less important duties for the rest of the war.

Here is a cdv of double amputee Alfred Stratton, 147 New York Infantry, Co. G. He was severly wounded by an artillery shell at Petersburg on Sept. 27, 1864. There is no backmark on this cdv.

Here is a great tintype with an armed Civil War infantry soldier. You can see his rifle, cartridge box, US plate, bayonet, and eagle plate. This tintype is in a cdv paper type holder. It is the size of an eighth plate.

Civil War identified bugler CDV. This CDV is identified as Johnason Miller. He is holding a bugle in his right hand. The backmark on this cdv is "W.M.Saylor, Photographer, 517 Penn St., Readiing, Pa.". Civil War bugler photographs are getting very hard to find.

SOLD!!! A great cabinet card with a cannon and many GAR members with badges sitting/standing around it. There are flags, drums, and badges!!! Everything you want in a good GAR photo. On the back of the cabinet card it says "BUCKEYE CANNON - Presented by- HENRY LEONARD, of Basil, Ohio, To the Col. Vol. Cupp Post, No.263, G.A.R., of Baltimore, Ohio. - Centennial Exposition at Columbus, O., 1888. Name of Cannon: "MILLENNIUM." There is also a quote from the Bible and "Copywrited by H. Leonard, 1888". This is a killer GAR cabinet card!
