Offered is a very clean program and ribbon from the 1928 annual reunion of the Confederate Veterans of Virginia held in Portsmouth, Virginia.  The ribbon is white.  Written in red ink on the ribbon is "Confederate Veteran - 1928".  The ribbon is approximately 5 13/16 inches long and approximately 1 1/2 inches wide.  The program is approximately 9 1/4 inches tall and 6 inches wide.  Written on the front cover is "Forty-first annual reunion Confederate Veterans of Virginia - Thirty-third annual reunion Sons of Confederate Veterans - Official Program - Portsmouth, Virginia - June 19, 20, 21, 1928".  Along with information on the reunion, there is also photos of Virginia Confederate veterans in the program.

Our loss is your gain.  A really nice mirror presented at the 1909 United Confederate Veterans reunion held in Memphis, Tennessee by the N.B. Forrest Camp, No. 215, United Sons of Confederate Veterans (USCV).  The mirror cover has Winnie Davis on it.  Written on the back of the compact is " "Daughter of the Confederacy" - N.B. Forrest Camp No. 215 U.S.C.V. Confederate Reunion - Memphis, 1909".  While everything is nice on this compact, the cover has separated from the base.  As long as the compact is closed, you will not notice it but the cover has been separated from the base.

A neat and very hard to find card from John Thompson Brown of the 20th Virginia Infantry and Parker Light Artillery.  I have never seen so much information put on a card!  Brown was Lt. General Commanding Department  of the  Army of Northern Virginia, U.C.V.  He was Virginia's commissioner for the 1913 Gettysburg reunion.  In the left corner of the card are six flags - D.C., W.VA., VA., S.C., N.C., and MD. surrounding a Confederate battle flag.  Written above the flags is "Department Army of Northern Virginia.  Additional writing on the front of the card is "R.E. Lee Camp No. 1 and Pickett Camp C.V., Richmond, Va. - Virginia's Commissioner, Gettysburg Celebration, July 1-4, 1913.  J. THOMPSON BROWN, Lieut.-General Commanding Dept. A very unique Grand Army of the Republic item!  This is a book mark with the likeness of Teddy Roosevelt.  Written on the book mark is "G.A.R. - 1902 - Washington, D.C.".  The book mark is approximately 2 1/4 inches by 2 inches.  A small cord is attached to the book mark.  Really neat GAR item with Teddy Roosevelt!

A very hard to find UCV button.  These were made by the Thomas J. Dunn & Company.  This is the coat button size or approximately 1 inch wide.  On the button is a Confederate battle flag with "U C V - 1861 - 65" written surrounding the flag.  The back mark is "Thos. J. Dunn & Co/Mers./N.Y.".  These Dunn UCV buttons have become very difficult to find.  Here is a nice example.

A great Grand Army of the Republic cantteen with General John Logan's likeness on one side.  The other side says "We Drank From The Same Canteen - G.A.R. Souvenir".  The canteen is made out of metal and is approximately 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 5/8 inches tall.  The cork is still in the canteen.
