SOLD!!! A neat and very hard to find card from John Thompson Brown of the 20th Virginia Infantry and Parker Light Artillery. I have never seen so much information put on a card! Brown was Lt. General Commanding Department of the Army of Northern Virginia, U.C.V. He was Virginia's commissioner for the 1913 Gettysburg reunion. In the left corner of the card are six flags - D.C., W.VA., VA., S.C., N.C., and MD. surrounding a Confederate battle flag. Written above the flags is "Department Army of Northern Virginia. Additional writing on the front of the card is "R.E. Lee Camp No. 1 and Pickett Camp C.V., Richmond, Va. - Virginia's Commissioner, Gettysburg Celebration, July 1-4, 1913. J.
