SOLD!!! A great GAR 1938 calendar. At the top of the calendar is a photo of veterans at Lincoln's Statue, 1937. All the veterans are identified on the calendar. The full calendar is attached. The calendar is approximately 13 inches by 7 1/2 inches.

1939 73rd GAR National Encampment Program

A nice program from the 73rd National Encampment, Grand Army of the Republic. This reunion was held August 27 - September 1, 1939 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. This is the official pamphlet.

"In Prison At Point Lookout" by G.W. Jones, 24 VA.

SOLD!!! A nice pamphlet written by G.W. Jones, Private, Co. H, Twenty-Fourth Virginia Cavalry about his time in Point Lookout prison. The pamphlet is approximately 3 13/16 inches by 8 3/4 inches. This pamphlet has information about Confederate prisoners in a Union prison. Neat piece!

Ided 64th Ohio Infantry Veteran Ceramic Canteen

SOLD!!! A nice ceramic canteen owned by M.P. Myers, Co. G, 64th Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry. This great canteen has a GAR membership badge on the front with Myers name apinted in gold paint. The canten is approximately 7 1/2 inches wide. On the back is an eagle and "A.Q.W. 00.". One of the canteen strap holders has broken away. If it wasn't for this the canteen would be $650.00! Everything else on this canteen is great.

Robert E. Lee Sterling Spoon

SOLD!!! A great sterling spoon with Robert E. Lee standing on the handle! The spoon has St. Paul's Church in Norfolk, Virginia in the bowl part of the spoon. The spoon has "Sterling" on the back handle.

1915 UCV Richmond National Encampment Pennent

SOLD!!! These are getting very hard to find! A 1915 pennent sold at the Richmond, Va. National Encampment. This greeat pennent has the First National, Battle, and Third National flags in a wreath with the dates of the reunion. The pennent is red with "Confederate Re-Union - Richmond, VA".

GAR Post 400 Naval Horseshoe Brass Photo Holder

A wonderful GAR horseshoe used to hold cabinet cards of the soldier/sailor in the Post. This is approximately 11 inches tall. At the top of the horseshoe is an eagle. Written around the horseshoe is "U.S. Steamer State of Georgia & Sciota - Post 400". A straight bar across the bottom of the horseshoe has the sailor's name - Laurence Naulty. These are getting very hard to find!

1910 UCV Mobile, Alabama Ruby Red Mug

SOLD!!! Incredible ruby red mug from the 1910 UCV National Convention in Mobile, ALabama. The mug still has it deep rich red colors and on the red is written "UCV - Mobile, ALA - 1910 - Mrs. J.E. Oates - Helena, Ark". The mug is approximately 4 inches high. There are no chips or cracks on this mug.

GAR Identified Shaving Cug

SOLD!!!

This is a great identified shaving mug with a type 4 badge painted on the front of the cup. Also painted on the cup is "S.G. Fisher" in Old English. There are no chips or cracks on this cup. The paint is in great shape. The gold band around the top is in good condition. These are getting very hard to find!


30 Ohio GAR Presentation Cane

SOLD!!! A really great GAR Post Commander 14 kt. gold presentation cane. This cane was presented to Emory W. Muenscher, Captain, 30 Ohio Infantry as a Past Post Commander in his home in Michigan where he moved after the war. Muenscher enlisted on August 21, 1861 as a 1st Lieutenant. He was promoted to Captain of Company I on January 28, 1862. he was offered the Lt. COlonel position on January 6, 1865 but he declined and was mustered out on January 17, 1865. The knob on the cane has been tested and the results show it is 14 kt. gold! These are getting very hard to find.

Wonderful GAR Stetson Hat

SOLD!!! A great hat made by the John B. Stetson Co., Philadelphia for a GAR veteran. This hat was sold by the John H. Bunting Hatter & Furbisher, Pottstown, PA. as noted on the wide leather hat band. The Stetson stamp is on the leather hat band also. The hat has the very wide ribbon on the hat that you really want on a GAR period hat. A GAR hat piece is attached on the front of the hat. These are getting very hard to find!

GAR National Encampment Pennant

SOLD!!! Wonderful pennant from the 1911 GAR Nationional Encampment in Rochester, New York. The pennant has "Rochester - Aug 21 - 26' and "G.A.R." written on it. There is also a large GAR membership badge on the pennant. The pennant is approximately 17 inches long. The pennant is now in a plastic holder and will be shipped without the holder for cheaper shipping. If the plastic holder is desired, we will be glad to ship it for the additional cost.

G.A.R. Encampment Banner

SOLD!!! A great banner from GAR Encampments. The banner is very colorful and has "WELCOME G.A.R." on it. It also has a large Grand Army of the Republic badge in the middle of the banner. The banner is approximately 11 inches by 17 inches. There is a light stain on the right side by the flag ribbon on the membership badge. It is a faint stain.

Norfolk, Virginia Confederate Monument Spoon

SOLD!!! Here is a great spoon with the Norfolk, Virginia Confederate veteran monument. On the back of the handle is the state capitol, Jefferson Davis Mansion, and the Lee monument. On the front of the handle is the Virginia state seal, crabs, oysters, and peanuts. The spoon is sterling.
