1931 SCV Presentation Loving Cup

SOLD!!! These don't come on the market often! This is a presentation cup from the 1931 UCV reunion in Montgomery. On the cup is inscribed "Vice Commander-In-Chief's Cup - Sons of Confederate Vetrerans - Presented to Dixie Chapter U.D.C. - June 3, 1931 - For Exceptional Diligence in the Cause - June 3, 1931 - Montgomery, Alabama". There are two battle flags on the front. On the back is inscribed "Maj. Robert S. Hudgins - Vice-Commander-In-Chief - S.C.V.". The cup is approximately 13 inches high. I found where this cup was presented at 2:30pm on June 3, 1931 in the UCV Montgomery program for 1931. Wow!!! Don't miss this one.

Wonderful Gettysburg Spoon

SOLD!!! A wonderful spoon from Gettysburg. This great spoon has General Meade's Headquarters in the spoon. On the handle are rifles, cannon, and U.S. flag. The spoon is sterling silver.

GAR Large Ceramic Canteen

SOLD!!! These are really getting hard to find. This canteen is a ceramic canteen with a GAR badge on the front. It is one of the large canteens. The GAR badge has color on it.

Wonderful 1899 Charleston UCV Spoon

SOLD!!! This wonderful spoon was sold at the 1899 Charleston Reunion. It is sterling silver washed with gold. It has a beautiful enameled Confederate flag on the handle and has "Charleston" in the bowl of the spoon. Don't miss this great spoon.

1912 Macon UCV Pennent

SOLD!!! UCV pennents are almost immpossible to find. Here is a great one from the 1912 Macon national reunion. This great pennent has red, white, and red felt with the Confederate battleflag and Robert E. Lee in the middle. It also has "Macon, GA. May 7-8-9, 1912" written on the pennent.

Co. A, Memphis UCV Camp, rode with Forrest Card

SOLD!!! He rode with Forrest!!! Here is a great Confederate veteran business card from Dr. G.B. Malone, Surgeon, Company A, C.V.(Confederate Veteran). This card was pre-UCV or 1889. This great card has a third national Confederate flag and Malone's information on it. The card is approximately 4 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches. Malone first enlisted in Co. E, 9th Tennessee Infantry. He was discharged due to his young age. Determined to fight he served for a year in Reno's Battery. His first battle was Shiloh and he was struck by a cannon ball. After the infantry and artillery he decide maybe the cavalry was a better way to fight the war! He joined Co. H, 12th Tennessee Cavalry. He saw action with Forrest in the battles of Athens, Sulpher Trestle, Pulaski, Franklin, the raid to Memphis, and many other minor battles. He was captured March 9, 1863 and was sent to Camp Douglas. He escaped on April 27th with three comrades, and made his way back to his command. After the Confederate surrender, Malone went to school and became a Doctor. He served as the Surgeon of Co. A in Memphis and as Chairman of the Association of Medical Officer of the Army and Navy, at the Confederate Reunion, in Memphis, March 1, 1901.

Kennedy Palmer, 13 VA. Infantry-Camp #1 Card

SOLD!!! Another great UCV business card! This great card is from Kennedy Palmer, 13th Virginia Infantry. Kennedy was a member of R.E. Lee Camp, No. 1. This great card has R.E. Lee's photo on the card. Written in old ink is "Member of Capt. S.D. Burke Co.-". The card is approximately 4 inches by 2 3/8 inches. With the card is a copy photo of Kennedy Palmer in the Civil War. This photo was published in the Time Life Civil War Series. Under the photo it says Palmer was with Jubel Early when he drove on Washington and was severly wounded at Harpers Ferry.

E.M. Ingles, 4th VA-Stonewall Brigade POW Card

SOLD!!! This is one of the most outstanding UCV business cards I have ever seen! This great card is for E. M. Ingles, CO. C, 4th Virginia Infantry, Stonewall Brigade. Ingles spent the whole war in the 4th Virginia. He was captured at Spotsylvania and spent the rest of the war in Elmira, NY POW camp. The neat thing about this card is the photos of Ingles as a soldier and a veteran. These are origional photos pasted to the card. Ingles was in the G.C. Wharton Camp, UCV, in Radford, VA. The card size is approximately 2 5/8 inches by 4 1/2 inches. I can't stress how wonderful this card is!

1913 Gettysburg 50 Anniversary Spoon

SOLD!!! Here is another wonderful sterling silver spoon from the 50th Gettysburg reunion. The spoon is approximately 6 inches long. On the top handle is "1863-Gettysburg-1913" with Gen. Meade's statue, crossed cavalry sabers, Gen. Lee's bust, Lincon's Monument, crossed rifles, and a canteen. In the bowl of the spoon is the High Water Mark Monument and cannons. On the rear of the handle is General Meade's headquarters, Gen. Lee's headquarters, crossed cannons, and the New York Monument. This is a fantastic spoon!

Wonderful Confederate Spoon - Enameled bowl

SOLD!!! This is a wonderful spoon from the Capitol of the Confederacy in Richmond. On the top of the spoon is an enameled Confederate battle flag. In the bowl of the spoon is the Capitol of the Confederate States, Richmond, VA enameled in the bowl. This is a wonderful spoon!

L.C. Lynn UCV Uniform - Forrest Cavalry Corp

SOLD!!! Here is a wonderful uniform from L.C. Lynn, 3rd Kentucky Mounted Infantry. He was wounded twice at Shiloh and then joined the Forrest Cavalry Corp. This is the Prince Albert style of United Confederate Veteran uniform. There are four buttons on the front of the coat. Two buttons are on the tail of the coat and two small buttons on each sleeve. All the buttons are the UCV flag button. This is only the second time in three years that I have had this nice of an uniform.

History of the Grand Army of the Republic

SOLD!!! Here is a copy of a very hard to find book about the Grand Army of the Republic. The book, "History of the Grand Army of the Republic", has all types of hard to find information. Copies of the veteran's society badges are in it and tons of information on the GAR. The book was written by Robert B. Beath in 1889. This is a first printing.

1909 Nathan Bedford Forrest Letter Opener

SOLD!!! You never see these any more because they are so fragile. These letter openers were presented at the 1909 Memphis UCV National Reunion. The letter openers were made in Germany out of a celluloid type plastic which has become very brittle with age. The top of the letter opener has a bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest. The main part of the letter opener is plastic and has "N.B. Forrest Camp No. 215, U.S.C.V., Confederate Reunion, Memphis, 1909". This letter opener has had some damage and has been repaired. Perfect letter openers are selling for over $500.00 in todays market.

1913 Gettysburg 50th Anniversary Reunion Metal Cup

SOLD!!! A very nice metal cup sold at the 1913 Gettysburg 50th Reunion. This great cup has an American flag on it. On the bottom of the cup says "Re-Union of Gettysburg - 1913". Another great Gettysburg reunion piece.

Sterling Silver Lee Monument Spoon Richmond, VA

SOLD!!!! This great sterling silver spoon has the Robert E. Lee Monument in Richmond, Virginia on it. Also on the back handle is the Confederate Mansion and the Lee Monument again. Some veteran bought this one at one of the Richmond reunions and took it home to his wife.
