35th New Jersey Veteran Vols 1903 Reunion Badge

SOLD!!! A great badge from the 1903 reunion of the 35th New Jersey Veteran Volunteers in South Amboy, N.J. The hanger is a crome type hanger with "35th N.J. Vet. Vols". The ribbon is an US flag flag ribbon. Attached to the flag ribbon is a celluloid drop. On the drop is "14th Annual Reunion - South Amboy, N.J., Sept. 7, 1903 - 35th N.J. Vet. Vols" with an illustration of their badge. On the back of the drop is a soldier dressed as a zouave holding a rifle. Written on the back is "Sommer Badge MFG. Co. - Newark, N.J.". The badge is approximately 4 1/2 inches long.

35th New Jersey Veteran Vols Members Badge

SOLD!!! A really nice badge worn by members of the 35th New jersey Veteran Volunteers. The top hanger looks like brass. A US flag ribbon is attached and attached to the flag ribbon is a really nice celluloid drop. On the celluloid drop is an illustration of the 35th New Jersey members badge. On the back of the celluloid drop is "Manufactured by the Sommer Badge M'F'G. Co. - 12 & 14 Williams, Newark, NJ". A really nice 35 New Jersey badge.

1935 SCV/UCV Amarillo Chaplain-In-Chief ID'D Badge

SOLD!!! If you are looking for a wonderful one of a kind badge from the 1935 UCV/SCV reunion in Amarillo this is it!! This is the Chaplin-In-Chief badge worn by Rev. Marshall Wingfield. Everything about this badge is great!!!! There was only one SCV Chaplin-in-Chief and this was his badge. This just came out of a very old collection of UCV badges. Better get this one fast.

1918 Tulsa Staff of the Commanding General Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful staff badge for the 1918 UCV Tulsa reunion. This great piece has a celluloid flag for a hanger. It says on the celluloid "Official Reunion Badge - U.C.V. - Tulsa, Okla. - Sept. 25-26-27, 1918". Attached to the celluloid flag is a red, white, and red ribbon with "STAFF of the COMMANDING GENERAL' in gold writing on it. The badge is approximately 5 1/2 inches by 1 5/8 inches wide.

9th New Jersey Volunteer Badge Group

SOLD!!! A great grouping of badges from the 9th New Jersey Veteran Volunteers. There are three badges in this group. There are two pinbacks and a ribbon. The first item is a ribbon from the 1893 reunion. The ribbon is approximately 6 3/8 inches by 2 7/16 inches. On the ribbon is written "Eighth Re-Union of the 9th N.J. Vet. Volunteers, Camden, N.J. September 20, 1893 - 1861 - 1865 - 9 N.J.". There is a stain by the "Vet." and "Volunteers" on the right upper side. There is a large "T" pin on the back. The second badge is a celluloid badge approximately 1 1/4 inches wide with "9th Reunion - N.J. Vols. - 1861-1912" attached to a red, white, and blue ribbon. The third badge is a celluloid badge approximately 1 1/4 inches wide with "9 N.J. - 1861-1865 - 1914" attached to a red, white, and blue ribbon with a long pin on the back. Really nice New Jersey unit group!

2nd Brigade New Jersey Vols 1892 Reunion Badge

SOLD!! A wonderful badge from the 2nd Brigade Reunion in 1892. The badge is approximately 7 1/8 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide with a T-pin on the back. On the ribbon is a Corp pennent with "Fifth Reunion - 2d Brigade N.J. Vols. at Jersey City, N.J. April 9, 1892" in gold writing.

13th New Jersey Vols 1898 Badge with Celluloid

SOLD!!! A very nice ribbon badge with an attached large celluloid of a Civil War soldier from the 13th New Jersey. The celluloid is approximately 2 1/8 inches wide. The ribbon has the Twelfth Corp red star on it with "Veteran Assoc'n 13th N.J. Vols. - Thirteen Reunion, Paterson, N.J. - Sept. 21st, 1898" in blue writing. Attached to the ribbon is a wonderful celluloid with the officer we discussed earlier.

14th New Jersey Regiment 1909 Celluloid Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful celluloid badge for the 1909 reunion of the 14th Regiment New Jersey Vols. The top hanger is an eagle with "MEMBER" on it. The ribbon is a flag ribbon and the great drop has Corp badges and "31st Annual Reunion 14th Regiment N.J. Vols. at Keyport, N.J., Sept.18, 1909". The bottom drop is approximately 2 1/8 inches wide.

11 New Jersey GAR Badge Group

SOLD!!! Look at this 11 New Jersey GAR group! There are three badges that were worn at three different reunions of the 11 New Jersey. The first badge is for the 1904 reunion at Morristown, NJ. This badge is blue with "Reunion 11th N.J. Vet. Vols, Morristown, N.J. - Oct. 6, 1904" in gold letters. There is a celluloid drop of a veteran attached to the ribbon. There is no hanger to this badge. The second part of this 11 New Jersey group is a blue ribbon with a silver corp badge and "Ninth Reunion - 11th Regiment New Jersey Vol's - Westminister Church - Phillipsburg, N.J. - June 16th, 1891" in gold on the badge. The third part of this group is a badge for the 1908 reunion. The hanger is crossed flags with a musket and a group of soldiers in a circle. The blue ribbon has "Reunion 11th Regt. N.J. Vols. - Newark, N.J. - Oct. 27, 1908" in silver written on it. The drop is a wonderful celluloid piece surrounded by the metal drop. The celluloid has an infantry soldier standing guard around a U.S. flag. There are cavalry and artillery around and behind the flag. The color on the celluloid is really nice. Three great pieces for one price.

1905 Trenton, NJ Ceramic Canteen Reunion Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful and hard to find badge from the 1905 New Jersey state GAR reunion and encampment. The top hanger says "Guest". A dark blue ribbon is attached to the hanger and a wonderful ceramic canteen is hanging from the hanger. This canteen is approximately 2 1/2 inches by 3 inches. On the front of the canteen in gold writing is "Annual Reunion - Grand Army of the Republic - June 22-23, 1905 - Trenton, N.J.". On the back of the canteen is a GAR star. These don't come on the market very often!

Washington Light Infantry - Charleston, SC Ribbon

SOLD!!! A great ribbon from the Washington Light Infantry of Charleston, SC. The ribbon is approximately 7 3/4 inches long and 2 1/8 inches wide. The Washington Light Infantry fought in the War of 1812, Seminole War, and Civil War. Company A was in the Hampton Legion and other companies occupied Fort Sumter. This ribbon was from a trip to New York, New Haven, and Hartford in June, 1883. Ribbons from specific Confederate units are getting very hard to find!

23 North Carolina Ladder Badge/So. Cross Group

SOLD!!! While North Carolina had many men who served the Confederacy, you just don't see North Carolina identified ladder badges on the market. Not only is there a ladder badge but also an engraved Southern Cross. T.H. Proctor was in Co. K, 23 North Carolina Infantry. He was wounded and captured at Gettysburg. The ladder badge is as good as it gets with Proctor's name on it and 23 N.C. CSA with a Confederate flag. The engraved Southern Cross is a Crankshaw with a pin back. The jeweler engraved his name upside down. I bet T.H. wasn't so happy when he picked it up! This wonderful grouping recently came from the family! Don't wait on this one!

18 US Infantry Identified Ladder Badge - Acorn

SOLD!!! A really neat 18 US Infantry identified ladder badge with an acorn for the drop. This great ladder badge was owned by John W. Linn as noted on the badge. He was in Co. D, 18 US Infantry.

North Carolina Tarheel Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful North Carolina badge owned by T.H. Proctor of the 23 North Carolina Infantry, Co. K. This great badge has a top in the shape of a tar heel. The bottom is a brass cross with First at Bethal - Last at Appromattox.

1907 North Carolina Tar Heel Celluloid Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful celluloid badge made in the shape of a foot with tar on it. These were made for North Carolina veterans to wear at the 1907 UCV national reunion in Richmond, Virginia. This badge was owned by T.H. Proctor, 23 North Carolina Infantry, Co. K. These badges are getting very hard to find!
