4 Ohio Infantry 1887 Reunion at Gettysburg Ribbon

SOLD!!! Very hard to find ribbon issued in 1887 for the 4th Ohio Infantry reunion at Gettysburg at the Ohio Memorial! On the white ribbon is "1863 - 1887 - OHIO MEMORIAL. 4th Regt. O.V.I. - Carroll's Brigade, Reunion at Gettysburg, Sept. 14, 1887." and a Second emblem in blue and white. The ribbon is approximately 5 3/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inch wide. I can't stress how hard this ribbon is to find.

1st Alabama Cavalry Identified Ladder Badge

SOLD!! A really neat ladder badge owned by William H. Connor. This badge is a gold color which is highly unusual for these badges. On the hanger is "Wm. H. Connor". On the second bar is "Bull Runn, Tenn". On the bottom shiel is "Co. A, 1st Ala. Vol. Cav., CSA - 61 - 65". The pin is broken but attached by tape. Please see photos. Do not miss this great badge!

1st Tennesse Cavalry Identified Ladder Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful ladder badge owned by W.N. McGrew, Co. K, 1st Tennessee Cavalry, C.S.A. This great badge has W.N. McGrew on the hanger and the bottom drop has "Co. K, 1st Tenn. V. Cav., C.S.A." on the badge. Great badge!

3 Kentucky Cavalry Confederate Ladder Badge

SOLD!!! A really nice Confederate ladder badge! This wonderful badge is from Co. F, 3 Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, CSA. The badge has five metal pieces and a red and white ribbon attached to it. Don't miss this great Confederate ladder badge.

12th Kentucky Identified Southern Cross - Forrest

SOLD!!! A really hard to find Southern Cross identified to B.H. Welch, Co. A, 12 Kentucky Cavalry. The 12th Kentucky was in General Nathan Bedford Forrest's command from 1863 until the end of the war. Welch joined Forrest's command in April, 1863. He was promoted to Lieutenant April 20, 1864. You don't have to wonder which regiment Welch belonged to because he had it engraved under his name on the bar of the cross. An identified Southern Cross with the regiment on the bar and in General Forrest's command! It doesn't get much better than this.

9th New York Hawkins Zouaves Reunion Flag

SOLD!!!! A great item from a reunion of the 9th New York Volunteers, Hawkins Zouaves. This was one of the Civil Wars hard fighting units. This neat item is on an approximately 5 inch stick pin with a Hawkins Zouave flag on top of an American flag. On the red Hawkins Zouave flag is "9th Regiment N.Y.V. - Hawkins Zouaves - Toujours Pret." in yellow. A really neat, hard to find piece.

1913 Maine at 50th Anniversary Gettysburg Badge

A hard to find badge from the 1913 Gettysburg 50th anniversary reunion. This great badge has "MAINE" on the hanger. There is a flag ribbon. The bottom drop has "50th Anniversary Battle of Gettysburg - 1863 - 1913 - Maine" written on it. The state seal of Maine is also on the drop. Another hard to find badge!


1913 New Hampshire at 50th Anni. Gettysburg Badge

SOLD!!! This is one of the nicest, most outstanding 1913 New Hampshire at Gettysburg badges I have owned. This beautiful badge has Robert E. Lee and George Meade on the hanger with Union and Confederate flags. There is no enamel missing on this badge! The red, white, and blue ribbon is in wonderful shape and has in gold "1863 - 1913 - 50th Anniversary Gettysburg" written on the ribbon. The bottom drop is in the shape of New Hampshire and has a GAR membership badge, the old man of the mountain, and NH on it. There won't be another clean badge like this on the market for a while!

1933 Maryland GAR National Badge

SOLD!!! Here is a badge from the 1933 St. Paul, Minnesota GAR National Convention. The badge was worn by Maryland veterans. Maryland badges are very hard to find. This great badge has a brass hanger with a yellow ribbon and "Maryland - St. Paul, Minnesota - Sept. 17-21, 1933" written in black. The badge is approximately 5 1/4 inches long by 2 inches wide. Great Maryland badge!

1917 Vicksburg Blue/Gray Peace Reunion

A great badge from the 1917 Vicksburg Blue and Gray reunion. The badge has a "Souvenir" hanger and the drop is shaped like a canteen. On the canteen is written "Federal & Confederate Peace Jubilee - Vicksburg, Oct. 1917". In the middle is a bird with an olive branch surrounded by a wreath.

Wilder's Brigade 1920 Ribbon

Very hard to find Wilder Brigade Reunion ribbon. This great ribbon was worn by members of the Wilder's Brigade at the 1920, Terre Haute, Ind. reunion on Sept. 19-20, 1920. The Wilder's Brigade was composed of the 17, 72 Indiana Infantry, and the 92, 98, and 123 Illinois Infantry. Wilder provided his men with Spenser rifles when the normal army doctrine was that repeating rifles were not practical. At the battle of Hoovers Gap, Tennessee his brigade proved how important the repeating rifles were. At Chickamauga, Wilder's Brigade was able to keep a level of fire on the Confederates that allowed the Union army to retreat to Chattanooga. The ribbon is approximately 5 3/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches.

1905 UCV Louisville National Encampment Badge

SOLD!!! A wonderful 1905 United Confederate Veteran badge for the Louisville National Encampment. This great badge has a riderless horse as the hanger and the drop is a celluloid of Major General John C. Breckinridge. This badge has it all - color, graphics, flags, horses!!!

94th New York Ladder badge

A great ladder badge for the 94th New York Infantry, Co. B. The hanger has "Co. B" on it. The cross bottom drop has "94 N.Y. Vol. Inf." written on it. Wonderful badge.


1910 New Hampshire GAR Mirror Badge

These great badges are getting very hard to find on the ribbon. These mirror badges were made for the 34th Annual New Hampshire Veteran's Association Encampment in 1910. Usually the mirrors were pulled of the ribbons and used as mirrors! Don't miss this hard to find GAR badge!


26 Connecticut Volunteer Gold Members Badge

SOLD!!! Here is a great gold 26th Connecticut Volunteers Members badge! This beautiful badge is gold with a white enamel 19 Corp emblem in the middle. On the gold hanger is "The Asso'n of the 26th Reg't Conn. Vols". There is a place for a name to be engraved but this badge does not have a name on it. There is a T-bar pin on the back. Great badge!
