SOLD!!! A very difficult 1913 Gettysburg badge to find is the 1913 Gettysburg Maryland badge! This great badge has a hanger with "Maryland" written on it. A black and yellow ribbon hangs from the hanger and a drop is attached to the ribbon. The Maryland seal is in the middle of the drop and a Union shield surrounded by laurel leaves. Written around the Maryland seal is "50th Anniversary - Gettysburg - July, 1913".. The badge was made by the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey as stamped on the back of the drop. Both Union and Confederate veterans living in Maryland wore this badge when they attended the 1913 Gettysburg 50th Reunion.
