SOLD!!! A great badge worn by Maryland Union veterans at the 1927 Grand Army of the Republic National Encampment held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The hanger is made of brass type material with Maryland on the hanger. A yellow and black ribbon is attached . Written on the ribbon in silver is "61st National Encampment G.A.R. - Grand Rapids, Michigan - Sept. 11 - 18, 1927". The drop has a celluloid piece which shows a large monument. The badge was made by Torsch & Franz, Baltimore as noted on the back part of the ribbon.
