SOLD!!! A colorful ribbon worn at the 1894 unveiling of the Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Richmond, Virginia. The badge is approximately 6 15/16 inches by 2 5/8 inches. The ribbon has the monument in the middle of the ribbon. The battle flag and the third national Confederate flag are surrounding the monument. Written on the ribbon is "The Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Richmond, Virginia - May 30th, 1894". This ribbon is very clean and I haven't seen one of these on the market for quite some time. This and several other ribbons and badges just came out of a 30 year old collection! Item #: 10941 |
