SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! A neat ribbon from the 1917 annual encampment of the Department of Washington and Alaska. This is a difficult department to find badges from. The ribbon is approximately 9 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. There is an United States flag on the ribbon and a bust of George Washington. Written on the badge is "Souvenir - G.A.R. and Affiliated Organizations 35th Annual Encampment - Department of Washington and Alaska - J.E. Gandy - Department Commander - Seattle, Washington - June 19th, 20th and 21st - 1917 - In Fraternity-Charity-Loyalty".
