| SOLD!!! A wonderful UCV group with several photos and lots of family paperwork and envelopes. Thomas Benjamin Amiss mustered into Co. B, 6th Virginia Cavalry. He was transfered to the 31st Georgia Infantry as the Surgeon. He served the complete war as a Surgeon and ended up in a Richmond hospital as a Surgeon. After the war he moved to Luray, Virginia and opened his Doctor's office. He was a graduate of V.M.I. There are two photos of Dr. Amiss and lots of paperwork and envelopes. The first photo has Dr. Amiss seated and he is wearing his United Confederate Veteran pin in his lapel. The second photo shows Dr. Amiss with a small boy in front of his office. Item #: R10065 |
