SOLD!!! This wonderful badge was presented to George M. Harper, Past Post Commander, Winfield Scott Post 445, Chicago, Illinois. George M. Harper was in the 35th Illinois Infantry. The badge has an eagle, cannons, and sword hanger. Attached to the hanger is a local(blue stripe) GAR ribbon and chains attached to a post commanders rank strap. The drop is attached to the rank strap. On the back of the star drop is engraved "G.M. Harper - P.P.C. - Winfield Scott Post 445 - Jany 2 1904". These are getting more difficult to find.
