| SOLD! Very hard to find Maryland badge. This great badge was issued to Maryland veterans visiting the 1890 Boston GAR National Convention. On the hanger it says "MARYLAND". The ribbon is red and had "Boston 1890" on it. The drop has "OUR BIRD" and a teripin or turtle on it. On the back of the drop is written "Dep't of Maryland G.A.R. Official Badge Adopted 1890 - Geo.R.Graham, M.D.-Dep't. Com'd'r". There is a minor weakness in the ribbon at the bottom clasp. Item #: 8587 |
