This large photo has an officer wearing a straight winged GAR membership badge and an Army of the Potomac(?) badge. He is standing with numerous cadet holding rolling block type rifles and wearing Indian War helmets. The straight winged eagle membership badge was made between 1875 and 1886. The photo was taken by Baker's Art Gallery, Columbus, Ohio. The mat is approximately 14 3/8 inches by 11 1/2 inches. The photo measures approximately 6 5/8 inches by 8 5/8 inches.
