| SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! Offered is an image of Charles H. Shaw, Company E, 1st Massachusetts Heavy Artillery. Shaw enlisted in July 1861 as a private. He re-enlisted November 25, 1863. He was listed as a POW at Petersburg, Virginia on June 22, 1864. He was exchanged December 1, 1864 and mustered out on August 8, 1865 in Washington, DC. The image is a bust photograph and is signed in period ink on the back of the carte "Charles H Shaw". The photographer is R.W. Addis, Photographer, 308 Penna.
