Offered is a great badge worn by a Virginia Confederate
veteran serving as a Delegate to the 1906 United Confederate Veterans Reunion
held in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The
hanger is a celluloid pin back with the state of Virginia’s seal on it.  Attached are two ribbons.  The first ribbon is a white one with “New
Orleans – 1906” written in black ink on it. 
The second ribbon is a red ribbon with “DELEGATE” written on it.  Some of the ink on the word “DELEGATE” has
come off.  The badge was made by the Bastian
Bros. Company of Rochester, New York as noted on the manufacturer’s label in
the back of the pin back.  The hanger is
approximately 1 ½ inches wide.  The total
badge is approximately 5 ¾ inches long and 1 ½ inches wide.
