SOLD!!! A really neat badge from the 1904 reunion of the 15th Maine Infantry held in Boston, Massachusetts. The badge has a brass type hanger. A red ribbon is attached. Written on the ribbon in gold ink is "Annual Reunion - 15th Maine Regimental Association - Boston, Mass. - Aug. 17 - 18, 1904". The drop is a celluloid image of a veteran wearing a GAR hat. This is most likely an officer from the regiment. The badge is made by the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J. as noted on the back of the ribbon and the celluloid drop. Item #: 15480 |
