A fantastic staff badge from the 1914 United Confederate reunion held in Jacksonville, Florida.  The hanger is in a gold color with two crossed Confederate flags and the city of Jacksonville.  Written above the city is "Jacksonville, FLA." and below the city "1914".  A red and white ribbon hanges from the hanger.  Written on the ribbon in gold print is "AIDE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF".  The drop in the same gold color as the hanger, has a Confederate Veteran commander in the middle.  Surrounding the Confederate veteran are crossed sabers, crossed rifles, crossed cannon, a naval anchor, and a bugle.  Written around the Confederate veteran is "U.C.V. 24 Annual Reunion - May 6-7-8".  The badge was made by the Whitehead & Hoag Company, Newark, New Jersey as noted on the back of the drop and on the top of the back of the ribbon.
