The 1941 badge is a three-part bronze badge with a gold backing ribbon.  The top suspension bar is a representation of the eagle from the membership badge.  Hanging by five chain links is the drop, which depicts the state seal of Ohio and the inscription "September 14-19, 1941, Columbus, Ohio".  Below the state is "representative" and "GAR".  At the bottom of the drop is a banderole inscribed "75th Annual Encampment".  Hanging by a single chain link below this is the circular pendant, inscribed "Commander in Chief William W.
