The 1941 badge is a three-part bronze badge with a gold backing ribbon. The top suspension bar is a representation of the eagle from the membership badge. Hanging by five chain links is the drop, which depicts the state seal of Ohio and the inscription "September 14-19, 1941, Columbus, Ohio". Below the state is "representative" and "GAR". At the bottom of the drop is a banderole inscribed "75th Annual Encampment". Hanging by a single chain link below this is the circular pendant, inscribed "Commander in Chief William W. Nixon". The reverses of the drop and pendant are marked "Metal Arts Co. Roch. NY". Item #: 13902 |
