| SOLD!!! The top suspension of the 1892 badge is chocolate bronze, with a profile bust of Washington in an oval and the inscription "Sept 1892". Above the portrait is a banderole inscribed "Washington". The ribbon is gold silk embroidered the intwined letters "G.A.R." in red, white, and blue. Suspended from the ribbon is a circular chocolate bronze pendant and an acanthus leaf suspension. The pendant has a silver center medallion depicting the Capitol and the inscription "Members 26th National Encampment". The reverse of the pendant is inscribed "Presented by the Citizens of Washington, DC". The reverse of the central medallion depicts the Grand Review Parade of 1865. Item #: 8460 |
