A great badge from the 1887 Georgia State Fair held in Macon, Georgia. This badge has an eagle hanger with pin. A drop is attached to the eagle hanger. On the drop is the image of Jefferson Davis. Written around the likeness is "Jefferson Davis". The back of the drop has the Georgia state seal. Written around the seal is "Georgia State Fair - Macon - Oct. 25, 1887". A great pin worn by Confederate veterans before the United Confederate Veterans was established in 1889. Item #: 14251 |
