SOLD!!! The 1945 badge is a two-piece bronze badge with an imprinted backing ribbon. The top suspension bar is a representation of the eagle from the membership badge. Hanging by eight chain links from the top bar is the pendant, which is circular. The pendant is inscribed "Commander in Chief Isaac W. Sharp" around his portrait. The gold backing ribbon is imprinted in black "79th National Encampment G.A.R. - Columbus, Ohio - Sept. 30 - Oct. 4, 1945". The ribbon on this badge is faded otherwise the badge is in great shape. THere were only 99 delegates at this reunion.
