A very nice badge worn at the 1900 reunion of the 27th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. The hanger is a brass type material with "MEMBER". The ribbon is red. Written on the ribbon is "Ninth Re-Union 27th Reg't N.J. Vol.- Chatham, N.J. - Oct. 3, 1900". A celluloid drop is attached to the ribbon with a photo of one of the veterans of the 27th New Jersey. On the back of the celluloid on a paper label is "The Sommer Badge M'f'g. Company, 12 William Street, Newark, N.J.". The badge is approximately 6 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide. Item #: 13389 |
