| A great identified 81st Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry identified shield ladder badge. The badge is identified to Joseph H. Taylor, Co. E, 81st OVVI. Joseph Taylor was captured September 1, 1862 and listed as POW. He was exchanged on November 25, 1862. He mustered in December 28, 1861 and mustered out on July 13, 1865.
