A nice example of the 1913 Virginia at Gettysburg Cavalry badge. The state of Virginia had three badges for their attendees at the 1913 Gettysburg reunion. Most states only had one badge for everyone. Virginia had a badge for Infantry -blue ribbon, Artillery - red ribbon, and Cavalry - gold ribbon. The badge is the same for allthe VIrginians except for the ribbons. The hanger on the top of the badge has "Virginia" on it. The gold ribbon of this badge has crossed sabers and "Gettysburg - 1913" written on it. The drop has General Robert E. Lee on it. This badge displays extremely well but please not a few small pieces of acid free tape on the back of the ribbon to support weak areas of the ribbon. Item #: 12733 |
