One of the most attractive badges issued to Confederate Veterans was the 1905 UCV National badge.  The reunion was held in Louisville, Kentucky.  The hanger of the badge is in the shape of a riderless horse.  Attached to the horse is a beautiful celluloid with Maj. Gen. John C. Breckinridge on it.  Also with Breckinridge is a battle scene and a First National Confederate flag and a Confederate battle flag.  Written on the celluloid drop is "Reunion U.C.V. - Louisville - June, 1905. - Maj. Gen. John C. Breckinridge".  On the back of the celluloid is the Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J.
