A wonderful badge worn by veterans at the 1907 Blue and Gray reunion held at Fort Fisher, North Carolina. A celluloid pinback is the hanger. Written on the celluloid is "1865 - 1907 - Fort Fisher - Glory Enough For All". A white ribbon is attached to the celluloid. A members badge of the 117th New York Volunteers is stamped on the ribbon Under the badge is written "Blue and Gray - Fort Fisher - Jan'y 15, 1865 - Gray and Blue - Fort Fisher - Jan'y 15, 1865". Shaking hands are also on the badge. This badge is in great condition. You don't find many badges for Fort Fisher! Item #: 12281 |
