A very hard to find United Confederate Veteran Camp badge from the Harmanson-West Camp locted out of Parksley, Virginia on the Eastern Shore.  The veterans lived in Accomack and Northampton counties just below the Virginia - Maryland line.  This great badge has a silver color hanger.  A blue ribbon is attached to the hanger and the drop.  Written on the ribbon in silver is "Harmanson-West Camp, Confederate Veterans. - Sept. 26, 1895".  A large celluloid disk is hanging from the ribbon.  On one side is a COnfederate battle flag with "UCV - 1861-1865"  written on it. The back of the disk has a third national Confederate flag.  Whitehead & Hoag Company out of Newark, New Jersey made the badge.  The badge is approximately 4 3/8 inches long.  The veterans of the Harmanson-West Camp built the Confederate monument in Parksley as listed on the base of the monument.
