One of neatest North Carolina items I have ever owned! This wonderful wooden tar heel foot is approxiamtely 13 1/2 inches tall and approximately 5 inches wide at its widest point. It just surfaced coming out of a 30 year collection! Cut in the shape of a foot, the wood has a black tar heel with "61 - 65 - First at Bethel - Last at Appomattox - THE TAR HEELS - Furnished 127,000 Soldiers - LOST 40,275 - ___t. Furthest.
