SOLD!!!
A very hard to find badge worn by North Carolina veterans at their 1910 United Confederate Veteran's State reunion held in Norfolk, Virginia. It is very hard to find these badges without cracks or breaks. This wonderful badge has the Confederate battle flag and the First National flag on it. Under the flags are the Virginia and North Carolina state coat of arms. Under the coat of arms are two swords, a cannon tube, and an anchor. Written on the badge is "North Carolina State Reunion - UCV - Norfolk, VA. - September 6-7, 1910". The badge is approximately 2 inches by 3 9/16 inches. The celluloid badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J. There is an ink mark on the back of the badge on the very bottom of the badge. This makes it look like a crack or break but it is only a mark. Don't miss this hard to find badge.
