SOLD!!! A great badge presented at the 1915 United Confederate Veteran reunion held in Richmond, VA. This badge was given by the Stephen Putney Shoe Co. and Battle Axe Shoes to the Confederate veterans. The hanger is a pin back that is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. On the pin back is written "Compliments Stephen Putney Shoe Co. - Buy the Best - Battle Axe Shoes - Built on Honor - Richmond, VA. June 1-3, 1915" The pin back has two Confederate battle flags. Attached to the pin back is a cannon! The cannon is approximately 2 3/4 inches long. The pin back is made by the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey. I haven't seen one of these on the market in a long time.
