SOLD!!! One of the nicest Grand Army of the Republic slouch hats on the market. This beautiful hat has a wonderful wide brim of approximately 2 1/2 inches. A cloth GAR patch is sewn to the front of the hat and the veteran added "66" to the patch for the post he was in. A black and gold cord ends in two gold tassels at the front of the hat. On the cloth on the inside of the hat is "The Henderson-Ames Co., Kalamazoo, Mich. - B.H. Desebrock". This is the real deal, not one of the old hats with a GAR badge attached.
