| SOLD!!! In my opinion, one of the prettiest badges made for Grand Army of the Republic National Encampments. This beautiful badge was created for the 1905 encampment held in Denver, Colorado. The hanger has a cowboy on a bucking bronco. Around the cowboy is an enameled GAR. Also the "39th National Encampment" is in white enamel. A gold "Delegate" bar hangs from the cowboy. Another bar has cattle, mining, and farming represented in silver and gold. The bottom drop has two enameled U.S. flags. An eagle with a GAR star and a bronze disk with the likeness of W.W. Blackmar, Commander-in-Chief. A yellow ribbon hangs behind the badge. On the back of the ribbon is a Whitehead & Hoag Co. sticker. This badge is missing the pin on the back of the hanger.
