An absolutely fantastic identified 31st Ohio ladder badge. This great badge is shaped like the 14th Corp badge! The hanger has "Co. H" on it. The drop is in the shape of an acorn. On the drop is "31'' Ohio Vol. Inf. - G.B. Woodcock". This hard fighting unit fought at Corinth, Perryville, Stone's River, Hoover's Gap, Chickamauga, Missionary Riidge, Resaca, all the major Atlanta battles except Jonesboro, Sherman's March to the Sea, and the Carolina Campaign.
