A wonderful ribbon worn at the 1887 laying of the corner stone for the R.E. Lee monument. The large ribbon is approximately 3 1/8 inches by 7 3/8 inches. The ribbon has two flags and written on the ribbon is "Souvenir. Laying R.E. Lee Monument CORNER-STONE, Thursday, October 27th, 1887. Richmond, VA.".
