SOLD!!!
A nice UVL - Union Veteran League - ceramic canteen. The Union Veteran Legion was established in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania in March, 1884. Membership was restricted to officers, soldiers and marines of the Union Army, Navy, Marine Corps during the war of the rebellion, who volunteered prior to July 1, 1863, for a term of three years, and were honorably discharged for any cause after a service of two continuous years.
The canteen is white with the UVL logo embossed on the front. All of the three canteen strap holders have been knocked off. Otherwise the canteen is in great shape. The price reflects the damage.
