A nice badge from the 1918 reunion of the 39th New Jersey Volunteers. The top of this badge is a celluloid pin back approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. On the pin back is "39th Reg't. N.J. Vols, Ass'n. Frank Briden, Pres." with a photo likeness of Briden. Two ribbons are attached to the pin back. One is white with "April 2," in gold on it and the other ribbon is blue with "1918" in gold on it. The badge is approximately 6 inches tall. In the back of the pin back is the Sommer Badge Mfg. Co. advertising.
