A great badge created for the 1905 Grand Army of the Republic New Jersey state deparment reunion held in Trenton, New Jersey.  A ceramic canteen is attached to the hanger.  The hanger has the word "Delegate" on it and is attached to a chain in the front and a blue ribbon on the back of the hanger.  A white ceramic canteen is hanging from the chains.  Written in gold ink on the canteen is "Annual Reunion - Grand Army of the Republic - June 2 - -23, 1905 - Trenton, N.J.".  The GAR star is on the back of the canteen in gold ink.  A paper label is attached to the back of the blue ribbon.  Written on the label in black ink is "D.J. Bechtel Engraver, Stamps, Badges, Ect.  - Wedding and Visiting Cards.  - This canteen manufactured by The Thomas Maddock's Sons' Co., Trenton, N.J.  Manufacturers of Souvenirs for Lodges, etc.".  This paper label is usually always missing from the badge.
