15th Pennsylvania Cavalry 1907 Colorado Springs, CO Badge

A great badge worn by a member of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry at their 1907 reunion held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  General William J. Palmer moved out west after the Civil War and made a fortune in railroads.  In 1907 General Palmer invited all the living veterans of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry to travel out to Colorada Springs, Colorado at his expense for a reunion.  I have a large photograph of this reunion under Grand Army of the Republic - Photographs.  The hanger of this badge has the 115th Pennsylvania Cavalrys regimental crest.  Also written on the hanger is "35th Annual Reunion - 15th PA Cavalry".  A yellow ribbon connects the hanger and the drop.  The drop has a likeness of General William J. Palmer on the front.  After all he was paying for the party!  The back of the drop has "Colorado Springs - Aug. 17-26, 1907".  (Notice the ten day reunion time frame.)  The badge is made by J.K. Davison & Son, Philadelphia, PA as noted on the back of the badge.
