A national badge worn by a onfederate veteran at the 1938 United Confederate national reunion held in Columbia, South Carolina.  The hanger has "Annual Confederate Reunion - 1938 - COLUMBIS - South Carolina" written on it.  A red and white ribbon with "DELEGATE" written in gold is attached to the hanger and the drop.  The drop has a Confederate battle flag and a Third National flagGeneral Lee's likeness is on the drop.  Written on the drop is "UCV _ Columbia, South Carolina - 1938 - 48th Annual Confederate Reunion".  A small tear is over the "ATE" in "Delegate" and this is reinforced with archival tape.  Also a small seperation is on the back part of the ribbon and it also is supported with archival tape.
