Badges from the 1899 United Confederate Veterans reunion in Charleston, South Carolina are very difficult to find.  This badge was worn by a member of UCV Camp #550 from Clarksdale, Mississippi at the reunion!  The hanger has a celluloid label which says "CLARKSDALE, MISS. - Camp No. 550, Sam Cammack".  Attached to the hanger is a red ribbon with "Annual Reunion of the United Confederate Veterans - Charleston, S.C. - May, 1899" written on it.  A large celluloid disk with the Confederate battle flag and "UCV - 1861-1865" written on it.  On the back of the red ribbon is  apaper label from the Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey.  There is no pin on the hanger.
